I recently went on a weekend trip with a few close friends and it was pretty amazing. I got a new job last month and, after almost a year of having to go to work on Saturdays, I have my weekends back!
My friends and I decided to go to La Union. They’d been planning the trip for months already, but it got moved quite a few times. And I’m glad it did because I was able to go with them.
We spent the weekend swimming, exchanging stories, taking pictures, eating, and drinking. It was a pretty chill weekend, which was what I needed the most.
We stayed at The Circle Hostel (there’s another branch in Zambales), which is so cute. We met a few new friends when we stayed at the common area. If you’re planning a trip to LU, do consider staying at The Circle! I’m sure you’ll meet new friends and have a blast! :)
And if you happen to be in LU, do not miss the chance to eat at El Union Coffee!
I definitely recommend that you try their bacon maple jam grilled cheese, toasted marshmallow s’mores, and any of their coffee drinks! You won’t regret it, I promise!
No doubt about the fact that it was a pretty great trip! I’m already looking forward to going on another adventure and I’m certainly wishing for more weekends like this one!
