"It's nice to dine at Five and Dime"

Since I hadn’t blogged in a few weeks, I thought I should today. I have so many posts lined up, it’s crazy. Ugh. I’ve been somewhat busy these past few weeks, but I’d been mostly lazy to update my blog. I’m seriously gonna try harder to keep this up-to-date. My goal a few days ago was to publish all remaining drafts (Singapore trip, food posts, and a few others) before Wanderland, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to. Anyway, enough about that. Now let me share with you one of the most enjoyable meals I had during my Singapore trip.

Restaurant: Five and Dime (River Valley Road, Singapore)
Food: Eggs Benny, Corned Beef Hash
Dessert: Milo Panna Cotta

Five and Dime is a cozy restaurant on River Valley Road. It’s quite a long walk from the MRT (or perhaps we were just too hungry). By the time we got there we were starving. The food was good enough and we finally managed to enjoy the place. The highlight of that afternoon though was the dessert. The milo panna cotta was TO DIE FOR. If it were cheaper, we would had certainly ordered another one.

LOOK AT THAT. HEAVENLY! Perhaps the meal was pretty great because we were complete. That was our first meal together in Singapore. After that, we decided to roam around for a while. Laneway was fast approaching and that was certainly what we were looking forward to the most.

After a bit of shopping, we decided to drop by Marutama Ramen. I didn’t order ramen, but my friend did and she said it was okay. I ordered gyoza, but didn’t like it much (to be fair, I’m pretty picky when it comes to gyoza).

Our second day in Singapore did fly pretty fast, but we still had a lot of others things to eat, see, and do.
