It’s been almost two months since my Singapore trip. Well, how time flies! I was actually too busy pretending to be busy, hence the lack of posts on my latest vacation abroad. But I do believe in the saying, “Better late than never”, so here you go.
My friend Jenica and I flew to Singapore a day earlier than Leica and Michelle, so we had a whole afternoon to just roam around and eat. Since Jenica is one of my food buddies, we were both quite excited to try new restaurants while we were in Singapore.
We had heard good things and read great reviews about Ippudo, so it was definitely on our list. Luckily we didn’t have to wait long when we got there; we actually got a (shared) table within five minutes.
I decided to order Karaka Chashu (spicy Tonkotsu) and pair it with a glass of beer and it was amazing! The ramen was spicy enough, but not too spicy. The flavours were great and the pork was to die for! I haven’t tried too many ramen restaurants in Metro Manila, but I’m definitely looking forward to Ippudo opening here. My favourite ramen place in the city is Santouka, but Ippudo was something else!
Our first day in Singapore was definitely a great one for our tummies!
