I can’t believe two weeks have gone by since Phoenix concert. That night was the start of one of the loveliest weeks I have ever had!
The meet and greet with Phoenix consisted of a quick greeting and a group photo. Of course, we all wanted to have more time to actually talk to them and get their autographs but we did not have such luck. I’m not complaining though! Just being able to be that close to them made me really happy. When it was finally our turn to have our photo taken, my two friends, Jenica and Leica, immediately headed toward Thomas and Deck so I went straight to Branco and hugged him tight. He obviously got surprised because his eyes widened and, after a few seconds, Christian smilingly said, “Et moi! Et moi!” HAHA. By the time I finished hugging him, it was time to take the group photo so I placed myself next to Thomas. Everything happened so fast and I wasn’t really able to look at Deck for more than a few seconds and actually touch him, but that whole experience was surely better than nothing! Definitely a memory I’m gonna cherish! :)
The concert started at around 9 and my friends and I were lucky enough we had been able to squeeze ourselves in in the first row. The crowd was so wild when Phoenix came up to the stage. It took them 14 years to come here and it was amazing! Every single one of them was fantastic and no moment was dull. I am so happy I did not miss their concert and I am definitely looking forward to watching them again live!
Here below are a few more of the pictures I took that night. I actually have a lot of videos as well, but I haven’t decided if I’m gonna somehow edit them into one and put it up on my blog.
I used my Sony WX300 to capture all the pictures and videos and I couldn’t be happier with it. The battery life is great; I could actually take pictures while recording a video; and, of course, I could zoom in and take good enough shots that I wouldn’t have been able to get using just my phone.
(This photo though! HOW CAN SOMEONE BE SO BEAUTIFUL? *insert heart-eyed emoji here*)
I wish it could have lasted longer, but all (good) things must come to an end (#maypinaghuhugutan?! HAHA kidding). Perhaps one day I will be able to fly to Paris and watch a Phoenix concert there. That would be another unforgettable experience!
Just a couple of pictures with my friends while waiting for the meet and greet. Glad I have these two with whom I can share amazing memories. :) You’ll see them again in my next few posts about my Singapore trip. :)
