Last Thursday, some of my office mates and I were at Shangri-La for a Kenwood activity in Rustan’s. Before proceeding to the venue, we decided to have lunch at Kettle.
We spent a few minutes deciding on what to order and, by the time our order was complete, we were so hungry already. I personally ordered the Smoked Salmon Salad, but we actually just shared everything. Each dish was so delicious I couldn’t stop myself from eating. The Mac and Four Cheese was good, but I still prefer the one from Borough. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken was a definite favorite and the Angus Roastbeef was quite yummy, too.
An incident (or three…) happened, but I won’t dwell on that since the owner was really nice and apologetic. :) Of course, we couldn’t stop ourselves from ordering some desserts. We chose their Checkered Cake, Pistachio Cake, and Banana Cream Pie. I wasn’t a fan of the cakes, but I found the pie enjoyable.
The experience might not have been perfect, but I’m definitely going back to give Kettle another chance to make my tummy happy! :)
