Calderon and Moksha have both become quick favorites of mine over the last few months. Last weekend, some of my office mates and I decided to have our Valentine’s dinner at Calderon, a Spanish restaurant in San Juan. We ordered our favorite, their Paella Negra, and lengua and fish. We had a lovely time eating and talking, but the evening was far from over.
Restaurant: Calderon (Little Baguio, San Juan)
Food: Paella Negra, Lengua con Setas, Pescado en Salsa Verde
At around 8pm, we moved to Moksha, which is only a block away from Calderon. We’d been to Moksha together for a few times already, but each time feels like a whole new experience. As one of my office mates would say, “Moksha is home.” HAHA! The place is quite nice and cozy; the ambiance perfect. Needless to say, that night was really great! I had so much fun listening and singing along to some of our favorite songs, talking about random things, drinking, and laughing of course. At first, it was just us girls but eventually some other friends joined us. Not ashamed to say this, but I usually get quite drunk whenever I’m at Moksha because the bartenders always give us free Cuervo shots (and tequila is my weakness). Last Saturday, we got free shots again and I was so glad I didn’t feel like puking as I usually would have. Definitely looking forward to another great night at Moksha!
THESE GIRLS! <3 But I’m not gonna be cheesy on this post. You may follow me on Instagram if you want to come across some of my occasional cheesy moments. HAHA.
